We are pleased to announce the first issue of the SimPRENA Newsletter with the latest information on the project’s activities and outputs. If you are a health sector professional, educator and/or student willing to explore new opportunities to practice your clinical and decision-making skills through various real-life situational experiences, this is the right project for you with our final outcomes being an e-learning platform, a train-the-trainer course and manual for training the teachers of nursing and paramedic students for simulation education.

SimPRENA presentation at INHWE Congress

The SimPRENA initiative was presented during the 4th INHWE International Congress held on 26-27 June 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

The project was presented in the frame of an introduction to ongoing and past projects focusing on health workforce-related challenges. David Smith from the INHWE team outlined the aims of the project, the upcoming simulation package tools for teachers and students, and the training course on how to cope with aggressive, violent healthcare environments. Participants were very interested hearing about these issue and asked for more insights after the presentation.

SimPRENA Newsletter
