Characters

Very anxious patient: A middle-aged individual, extremely anxious, borderline panicky, displaying hyperventilation, wringing hands and pacing.

Nurse / Radiology technician: Trained in communication and anxiety-reduction techniques.

Background

The patient is scheduled for an MRI scan but is apprehensive due to a condition they have. The objective is to ensure the patient feels heard, understood and supported while progressing towards completing the procedure safely.
